In the United States, insurance fraud is a multi-billion dollar business.   The Coalition Against Insurance Fraud indicates that insurance fraud costs businesses and consumers $308.6 billion a year. Additionally, the FBI estimates insurance fraud results in the average family paying between $400 and $700 a year more in insurance premiums.  

• Property & casualty insurance: $45 billion; auto theft fraud totaled $7.4 billion; 
• Workers' compensation: $34 billion ($9 billion from premium fraud; $25 billion in claims fraud).

Our company specializes in all types of surveillance.  Surveillance is a skill that is honed by years of experience.  All of our investigators have thousands of hours of surveillance experience.  There is nothing glamorous about sitting in a vehicle or in a stationary location, watching a target subject or location.  It takes patience and perseverance, the ability to blend in, and when to back off.  Unlike TV and the movies, individual surveillances are almost impossible.  It takes several people to conduct a potentially successfully surveillance.  Sometimes it takes a little bit of luck.  That said, my mother was famous for saying that LUCK is spelled H-A-R-D-W-O-R-K.
