Larry Hensley, Owner/Manager Larry received BS in Law Enforcement and subsequently earned an MA in Administration of Justice, then a second MA in Management. After undergraduate school Larry went to work for the St. Louis County Police Department in 1975 in the Uniform Division. In 1987 Larry joined the US Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as an 1811 Criminal Investigator, Special Agent. Larry’s first duty station was Oklahoma City, where he spent a significant amount of time working undercover and investigating methamphetamine laboratories. During this time Larry became certified as a Firearms Instructor, a certification he maintained throughout his career. A subsequent investigation into a cocaine/crack cocaine organization by the Bloods Gang out of Los Angeles morphed into a wiretap. Ultimately 19 people were arrested and convicted in a federal Continuing Criminal Enterprise (CCE) conviction of the leader and his lieutenants. In 1990 Larry applied for and was selected to transfer to the Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico Resident Office of DEA. After attending six months of language school at the State Department’s Foreign Service Institute (FSI), Larry arrived in Monterrey, where he worked in a five-person office. Larry was assigned to the investigation of the Gulf Cartel, specifically the head of the Cartel, Juan GARCIA-Abrego. Over several years, investigative leads were followed though out Mexico and the United States. In March 1995 GARCIA-Abrego was the first international drug trafficker to be placed on the FBI’s Top 10 Wanted Fugitive list. On January 14, 1996 GARCIA-Abrego was arrested outside Monterrey. He was then extradited to the United States, where he was tried federally and convicted in Houston, Texas, on 22 counts, including Conspiracy to Import Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Deliver, Money Laundering and Continuing Criminal Enterprise (CCE). GARCIA-Abrego received 11 consecutive life sentences and was fined $234 M. For this investigation, Larry received the FBI’s highest award, the FBI’s Director Ward for Outstanding Criminal Investigation. In October 1996 Larry was transferred to the Austin Resident Office (ARO) of DEA. There Larry continued is collateral duty as a Fire Arms Instructor, Methamphetamine Lab Coordinator, Entry Team Leader and training agent for agents fresh out of the academy. In this capacity, Larry is the proudest. In that position, Larry had the pleasure of working with and training some of the best a brightest of DEA’s cadre. It was a profound honor to train these fine men. In 1999 and 2000 the ARO investigated a significant international trade of MDMA out of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In the course of several thousand-man hours of Investigation, many, many members of the organization were identified throughout Texas and other parts of the United States. The subsequent arrest and conviction of all the conspiracy members lead to the members of our investigative team, including SA’s Antonio Hubbard Melvin Patterson, FBI Intelligence Analyst Linda Hensley, Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) Mark Marshall and Larry, receiving the DEA’s highest award, the Administrator’s Group Award. In 2009 Larry retired from DEA and started Superior Investigating and Consulting LLC. Our company, with our extensive experience with criminal investigations and surveillance, have worked with several Fortune 500 companies in Austin and greater Texas.
Paul has been a private investigator since his retirement in 2008 from the Austin Police Department as a Detective in the Major Narcotics Unit. During his 28-year career, Paul worked uniform patrol, Repeat Offender Program, helped create the High-Tech Crime unit and served there for 10 years and spent his last 5 years investigating drug smuggling groups. Paul is an avid sports and wildlife photographer and uses these skills and equipment as a PI also.
Andrea is a graduate of the University of Missouri, St. Louis, with a Bachelor Degree in Administration of Criminal Justice. Her Law Enforcement career began in 1975 with the St. Louis County Police Department; the third largest Department in the State of Missouri. Her first duty assignment was in the Division of Patrol where she was assigned regular patrol duties with an emphasis on neighborhood policing.
After a few years on the street Andrea was assigned to the Bureau of Personnel and Training as a Detective. She conducted conducting background investigations of police and civilian applicants along with recruiting to comply with a Consent Decree from the Federal Government to increase minority and female employees.
As a Detective she was a founding member of the newly formed Family Crime Unit investigating child physical/sexual abuse and child neglect.
She then became an instructor at the Greater St. Louis Police Academy as an Instructor. She was Certified as a Firearms instructor, Driver Training, Defensive Tactics, and Report Writing.
She was then temporarily assigned to the Tactical Operations as an officer assigned to high crime areas in St. Louis County.
In 1993 Andrea was promoted to Sergeant and assigned to the First Precinct as a Patrol Supervisor, where she was responsible for platoon productivity, scheduling and discipline.
Andrea was then assigned to the St. Louis County and Municipal Police Academy as a Sergeant over the Continuing Education Program. She handled scheduling of approximately 250 training programs a year to meet the requirements of the Police Officer Standards and Training (POST) requirements for the State of Missouri. In 1999 she was promoted to Lieutenant Commander, where she became responsible for the Bureau of Records. This assignment was to ensure the proper storage and distribution of police reports, traffic citations, registration of sex offenders and the transfer of ownership for firearms.
She was subsequently assigned assigned as the Lieutenant Commander to the Bureau of Communications, where she managed a communications staff of 125 telecommunicators and for purchase and maintenance of radio equipment and off-site facilities.
In 2008 Andrea retired after 33 years of service.
Keith was born and raised in the Colorado Rock Mountains at an elevation of 9,000.00 feet. He began my law enforcement career in a suburb of Colorado Springs at the age of 21 when he was sworn in August of 1996. During his 14-year tenure in the Woodland Park, CO Police Department he worked in patrol, general and major crimes investigations with a specialization in traffic accident reconstruction and held the ranks of Corporal and Sergeant in both divisions.
Keith spent 18 months in Metro Vice and Narcotics unit working undercover narcotics investigations specializing in clandestine methamphetamine labs. He then moved from vice to the 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office Homicide Task Force for 12 months also assisting as a member of the United States Customs property and financial crimes task force based out of Denver, CO for 24 months.
Keith completed my time at the agency as a sergeant of the tactical team.
In June 2010 Keith laterally transferring to the Pflugerville Texas Police Department, where he remained until January 2019 when he retired. During Keith's tenure at Pflugerville PD, he obtained several instructor certifications specializing in defensive tactics, active shooter response training and Incident Command. He traveled to several states teaching law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, teachers and civilians in response to active shooter through the A.L.E.R.R.T system. At Pflugerville PD Keith held the ranks of patrol Sr officer, Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Commander and tactical team leader.
During his time as a Lieutenant, Keith spent time supervising patrol operations, as well as Criminal Investigations (C.I.D) and narcotics. When he was appointed commander he oversaw the Operations Bureau which consisted of C.I.D, K9, narcotics, traffic unit, Crime Scene Unit, chaplain program and the tactical team.
After retiring from the police department, Keith continue to work in the private sector as licensed private investigator and plain clothes, armed, private protection officer.
When not working Keith spends his time with my wife of 25 years and his two daughters, both of whom attend Texas A&M University.
